What You Need To

Jump Into Jerusalem Real Estate

(These are the thoughts of CapitIL Real Estate Agency Sales Director Ben Levene.)

As a broker, I get the opportunity to meet and work with many different clients from many different places. With that comes many different traits and types of buyers.

With market prices high and no signs of slowing down, let’s go through some common mindsets of different buyers and the strengths and weaknesses of each one.

Go With The Flow

Some buyers are not fussed about little things and as long as the apartment they find ticks most boxes, they are happy to buy it. This allows the buyer to be ready to jump on an opportunity when it presents itself and these types of clients do not lose out by waiting too long.

However, this can also be a detriment if they do not do the proper checks and due diligence. It is important to have a delicate balance between being able to concede on certain things and making sure you end up with an apartment worth its value.

Detail Oriented

Having an eye for detail is extremely important, especially when making a significant purchase. Whereas some people walk into a place, like a feel, and decide it is what they want, some people like to know every little detail before purchasing.

This is good because you will have done your thorough due diligence and not rush in and end up with something that does not work for you.

However, sometimes the need for every detail can get in the way of making decisions quickly, and people, therefore, miss out on opportunities.

Hesitation can be both a strength and a weakness in the current market, so make sure you have a good team that can advise you properly.

The Grass Is Always Greener

The worst feeling can be purchasing something you love, and then seeing another opportunity and feeling like you lost out.

Unfortunately, there are some people that are scared to jump in and buy something because they are always looking for another opportunity that is possibly better.

On the one hand, this way of thinking ensures that you will end up with something you are happy with, and you will not look back.

On the other hand, while you sit back and let opportunities pass, you may never find the perfect deal and will be one of those people wishing you had bought Jerusalem real estate 5 years ago.

Conclusion

Buying real estate in Jerusalem is an important financial decision and should not be made lightly. It takes a delicate balance of all three traits mentioned above in order to successfully purchase here in Jerusalem.

With supply so low, make sure to take advantage of any opportunities, but surround yourself with an expert team that can advise you on whether it is a good opportunity for you and your needs.
